52 mile week at the end of July.
July was a 155 mile month.
Where can I go from here? Cardio isn’t completely gone… I’ve been cross-training a decent amount…
Ok… that doesn’t say much. 2-3x per week for 30-45 minutes each time for cross-training.
Flying Monkey is November 23rd.

- Guess my 20 miler time: I ran 6.29 miles in the first hour + highest mileage week in a year. This was not a set up for a good long run today: I had a mid-back spasm in the first mile of my 5-miler yesterday morning that was still bothering me this morning. Needless to say, I thought I could run a 7 minute mile, but I lost the pace at about 4/10 of a mile and struggled to keep a 7'20" mile. Coming off of that effort with a little......
- I ran 15 miles at sub-9 pace the hard way #running #twit2fit (and on the treadmill at 11pm) I decided that I'd do a progressive workout, starting @ 6.0 mph (10'00") and going to 7.4 mph (8'06"?), by 0.1 mph increments per mile. I have the speed to run 6'30" intervals, but I'm still hesitant to push for a sub-9 pace long......
